Education.com, the source for teachers and parents, has given Prisoners in the Palace an A+. I’m so pleased to be making the grade! Check it out here.

Seattle Pi calls Prisoners in the Palace a great read for adults and teens!
Check out this review. I’m particularly fond of it because the author clearly read my author’s note!
RJ Julia’s in Branford on Saturday April 30th
RJ Julia’s — perhaps the coolest independent bookstore in CT — is a big fan of Prisoners in the Palace. So much so, they’ve invited me to talk on Saturday April 30th. They ask that people register for the event (it’s free of course!)
I’ll be signing books at Barnes and Noble in Westport – April 29th!
Coleytown Middle School has a bookfair and I’m invited for the entertainment… I’m opening for a band! Come see and support a great cause. Here’s the website.
Coleytown Middle School — Great Seventh Graders
Today I visited the other, smaller middle school in my town. I live in the district that has the newer, bigger middle school, and I’ve never been in Coleytown Middle. I’ve been missing out. The school is lovely. I was welcomed by everyone and the kids were terrific. Smaller can be better! I may go back to talk to the 6th and 8th grades. What a fun day!
