Yesterday I had a wonderful time at the Westport Historical Society. We had a high tea with real cucumber sandwiches, meringues and homemade almond tarts. I spoke and read and signed…. thanks to everybody who came! And thanks to Amy Mortenson who took this great photo for the Connecticut Post and the Westport News.

The Book Aunt calls Prisoners in the Palace a lively read, full of intrigue….
The Book Aunt (because other people give you clothes and video games) wrote a terrific review of Prisoners in the Palace. She liked the intrigue which keeps getting “intriguier!”
